Jillian Noel Shennessy born 25th November, 1968 in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician that was recognized for her significant contributions in American television. She has become well-known because of her roles as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order and Crossing Jordan. She also put her acting abilities displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced film, she exercised co-directing skills and her writing abilities. Hennessy began her career in the year 1988 with her sister in the role of twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story at Broadway in 1990. Then, in 1993 Hennessy made her way out of musicals to enter the genre of sci-fi as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the autumn of that year, she was a part of the crew of the NBC sensational crime show Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
