Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. The singer combines jazz from the soul genre with R&B for a distinctive mix. The singer's career has taken her across Broadway to European events and clubs, and even to the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine has been born Denise White. She is originally from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by playing piano and singing at church. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You A House 12, came out only in Japan. It has been remixed many times, and has become a staple of her live shows. Her voice was also added to the music of The Fighting Temptations. She was named the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's musical Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls, the theatre production of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous throughout the four performances in The 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
