Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of, is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with several films in Malayalam. She received the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 because of her performance as actress Savitri which was in the Telugu movie Mahanati. In addition, she received an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began in early 2000s as a child actor. Her return to the film industry after studying the field of fashion. The year 2013 was the last time she played the role of lead actress in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and was signed to participate in a variety of Tamil film projects simultaneously. The first film she acted in is A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which was a co-production with Vikram Prabhu. However, the film didn't do well in the theater. It was necessary to withdraw of a variety of projects she had been making in 2015 like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for larger projects. She then worked in Rajini Murugan's Remo with two short film. Also, Dhanush and she played the lead roles in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. Although the release date of Janakitho Nenu has not been confirmed, there is speculation that the film could be released later in the month of September, 2020. Nenu Sailaja was made in the year 2016 and featured in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
